Im doing a 258/360 conversion. My 360 is off a 82 wagoneer. The driver side manifold exits out the back. I noticedmy friends 304 exited out the center. Will my rear exit work on my CJ7? If not will a manifold from a 304 work on my 360? Which manifold do I need?

I believe all the AMC V-8 exhaust manifolds are the same for the right side from 1971 up. The left side all V-8s were centered until 80 or 81 when they went to the rear dump. The rear dump may work with an automatic, but I think it will interfere with the clutch linkage on a stick. You just need a left side from any V-8 from 1971-1980.

Like Tufcj said....and in addition the manifolds from a 304-360 and 401 will all work
