My dad is changing the bearings in his 304. Everything we have read they give a range of journals sizes for journals 1-5. In the mopar performance book. they give a specific range for each journal number 1 and it tapers down to 5. #5 being the smallest.
#1 2.1195-2.1205
#2 2.0895-3.0905
#3 2.0595-2.0605
#4 2.0295-2.0305
$5 1.995-2.0005
The bearings we got dont specify a difference in size Should we have something that says specifically what goes into each journal ? or should we not really worry about it?
This is all going into a Stock 304. Never been rebuilt

Are you talking cam bearings? They're usually packed in the box in the correct order. It's easy to measure with calipers.

crank....well my dad put them in, and it cured his oil pressure problem. At operating temperature it holds a good 20psi. SO he is happy with it now
