jeepmonster All i can say is WOW!!!! 1000+ Ft Lbs of torquw at 5800 RPM!!!! How on earth do you hook that kind of power to the ground. Wow!! Have fun at the track showing the Chevy crowd that AMC's are no longer the underdog with the new parts that are available! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Mudrat radamx wrote 1162 hp at 7300 rpm 1000.8 ft torque at 5800 WOW!!! Now, with that RPM and a set of 44's with some 11's or 11.5's stuffed in the pumpkin, you'd be hell on a rock pile ;-) Ok, ok. Have you had it to the track yet? Mudrat
radamx Ok been doing a little testing and I managed to pull a 9.22 at 152mph. Still trying to figure it out. I found out that a # 8 fuel line is not big enough so back to the drawing board. It may not sound fast for the hp but this is a 3200 pound car with 8 inch wide rear rims and street tires with Mufflers. I tuliped a couple of valves running it lean due to fuel pressure problems so I hope to get it back together in a couple of weeks and try for the elusive 8 second pass. 111!!!
jeepsr4ever Very nice numbers...I cant recall specs on the motor LOL 1000ftlbs of torque......whew

Gremlin4ever radamx wrote Motor plates This is the part I'm interested in :? Custom or did you find them somewhere already made? Very nice ride by the way :t:
Mudrat If your looking for the block plates with vibration dampers, M.O.R.E. has some really nice ones. Mudrat
radamx Ok went back out and ran 9.09 at 152mph. Almost my 8 second pass. soon I hope :-| Not bad for street tires and mufflers and a 8 inch wide back rim and yes I built the motor plates from scratch and I wish I had run them a long time ago.for a race car that is. the hood is off a humpster amx .narrowed 3.5 inches and shortened about 4.5 inches
