Is any one but me fed up with the current crop of BUTT UGLY billit goofy looking custom wheels??
I have been searching for months for a set of 5 slot "slotted dish mags" you know like whats on the early jeeps and used to be on every dang muscle car (unless it was Cragar S/S) and kids they aint out there.. just the hideous goofy spinning ugly 20" $1500.00 for four things..GAAAK am I just old and stuck in the 70's or what. I can just imagine the first rock whack on a 500 dollar wheel..bet the ol' spinner wouldn't look so cool wobbling around bent. And then try to find anything other than the Mickythompsen classic (with th round holes) for a 6 lug jeep..
I bet I have seen the same spindly spoked "snake on stilts " ugly wheels with names like "reactor or ammo or slingblade" 200 times with different names. how bout just naming them "Imaduufus"

the rims that are out there now just plain SUCK ! bigun, i'm with ya on this one. they need to get back to basics cause i've met young kids
(teens,young adults)that have gone back to fixing up 50's,60's and 70's
cars and trucks and want the old style rims(crager s/s, mickey thompsons
and the likes)to finish off there nicely restored vehicles.helped one 17
year old find the buick rally wheels for his killer 70 gs 455 skylark.
dad did the 455 and it has 550hp to the ground.he always dyno's
the cars he does to find out the engine outputs then gives the dyno sheets
to the owners for there records.
