i got a nasty letter from state farm after my loss of brakes incident this summer because i didn't put the truck back on the road, so they could not put an accident surcharge on the policy. :(:

Here in British Columbia, it's mandatory to get basic auto insurance through the Insurance Corp of BC. The collision and comprehensive is not mandatory, and can be either through ICBC or a couple different companies. I have a '93 Lumina Z34 and it costs about 800 (Canadian $$)a year, fully insured. I have full deductions too with having 16 years of safe driving.

i was paying $1600 a year for my DD (what ever it is at the time) and my CJ. Once i got married and combined my wifes, and my policy, we are paying $1450 a year for both my cars and her 2001 Jetta Basically her policy went up $20 a year andmine dropped
I have always got the best prices through Metlife

I hate insurance I pay insurance on 2 jeeps 3 pickup and 2 truck . and I can only drive one at a time full coverage on one the wifes grand. about $ 4000 a year
We should be able to just insure our licensees and drive anything.

I pay ~100 a month for full coverage on a 94 civic, and that includes my renters insurance as well. I guess the car part is probably ~80. I go through State Farm.

$180 per month for full coverage on an 02 PSD F250, an 04 Ranger and liability on a 76 Cj5 and a 65 Mustang. We are going to put classic car insurance on the Mustang. It will be $100 per year for FULL coverage and an agreed vaule of $10,000. I wanted to do the Jeep also but they won't do offroad vehicles.

One 1982 CJ-7 full coverage

But, the bad part is knowing that if it gets wrecked I will not get on tenth of what it is worth.

#-o the last time i paid that kind of money for insurance i had a
77 pontiac formula firebird with a slightly modified 403 olds v-8
putting out a measly 470hp to the ground. the insurance agent wasn't
amused.

Gathered that hasn't helped?
Not sure what we pay, but it's less than the state personal property and city taxes that we get hit with every 6 months ($2300 or so).
