Hey guys,, been a long time eh? well first, lets update the javelin. FInally got her back, and running great. Turns out, I had a stuck valve(compliments of last owner) and the piston smashed into it, fun stuff eh. But the heads are now redone(stock anyways) with new valves, springs, lifters, cam, etc. compression is right where it shoud be, and besides a small exhaust leak, it sounds and runs great. Have abit of material in the trans pan that says i might need a rebuild soon, but not a problem. anyways be back with more later

yup still around, just after my brother died, I had a hard time concentrating on the javelin. Weathers actually pleasant right now, was a high 60's today. perfect weather to change a starter in. starter died during the time the javelin was out of commision. but no biggy. better than a smashed valve or two

the starter took all but 20 minutes. 5 of those spent cursing because I got oil on a hat I liked.

Naw its great except if you have a snowmobile(lack on snow) or own a house with septic :shock:

sorry about your brother, it's always tough loosing someone, it will be 21 years on jan 24 since i lost my brother in a car accident. :smile:
