I see that at one end of the bulltear stainless steel oil fill tube has a thinner
wall than the other end.
Is the thinner walled end of the stainless steel oil fill tube the end that should be attached to the intake manifold?

One end has a precision cut on the outside, this is the end you install in the intake. It is best to put this into the freezer for 5MN then install by hand and when it warms it will expand into place. The other end has a cut on the inside to match the stock tube diameter. These are heavy duty replacements and come from a thicker material so we have to trim the diameter accordingly.

Appreciate it. Well with this winter weather I don't think the freezing the thing should be a issue. Thanks again

Tried what you suggested. Didn't work. Trying to place oil fill tube into edelbrock intake. One side of the oil fill tube slot on the manifold is a tad out or round. It appears that I will need to shape the tube a tad to get it to fit. Have you run into this before. #-o

The front side of the hole for the oil fill tube to attach to on the
Edelbrock intake maifold is not fully circular(oblong). I think with a tad of some pounding on the tube I can get it to fit. Thanks for your concern

Wow it takes some serious force to bend that 304. It must have been under some pretty hefty packages on the way to you
