Nope - he's worse.
He came over to the armorers truck to shoot the breeze with military types (Army, Marine and Navy vans are all parked next to each other at Perry) and the talk turned to his book and how the new 6mm round he designed was far suprior to the 7.62 M-185 and M-119 round we were using and that's why we weren't winning any matches (he only beat a Marine Staff SGT by 1-X. He fails to understand we go to war with what we use, not some slicked up, moly coated, 6mm round from a space-gun. None of which are in the supply system for combat.
Then he proceded to tell us that if we applied his method of ... blah, blah, blah .. we could significantly improve our scores .. etc.
He has some good ideas and methodology, but we have to apply that to combat against the enemy, I have yet to be attacked by a target. Well that's not true - I had one fall out of the frame on me once or twice :shock:
