Mudrat Dusty wroteIs this the old Train and tunnel annalogy? My piston has what kind of cleance to her sidewalls. Alright i dirtied and twisted things enough for you now :? At least you weren't slow on the pick-up :t: So I guess that WASN'T you on the left in the pics :lo1l: And Jack, if not then you need to install the KY oiling mod 8) Mudrat
Dusty KY is kinda primative, there are much better synthetic blends offering improved break in qualities, they come in flavors for the recieving end of the piston, and for while determining the 4 play and checking cylinder wall clearances, early on in the piston sizing and installation process this is essential to fitting things things together and aids in the prelubing process. Prelube to the engine is essential to long engine life and smooth installation, but over lubrication can also lead to wet spots. Be sure to gauge the situation accordingly as use of full sythetic on a dry and new engine can also lead to improper ring seating. :t: and a short engine life situation :t: also when engine lubrication system kicks in. Results may vary #-o

Mudrat Dusty wrote:t: You spent way too much time looking for that picture About 30 seconds on Google for "pre-oiler" :t: I was actually looking for the presurized oil pre-lubing system to put on the 360 and she just happend to 'pop' in there :lo1l:
Dusty 30 seconds. "Pre-luber" "Pressurized system" this is not a good sign, usually they say Viagra is a intermediate that helps are you sure you need to be researching the installation of full blown hydraulics. 360? is that some new technique? or a left over from before i was around. Or does that involve one of those swings from the cieling thingys. From the sounds of things popping in is only for 30 seconds or needs hydraulic assistance. Mudrat?? :? :-| Maybe work is getting to you, you need more threads like this to keep the humor and potentially a new physician with better advice. 1 vote for timely and appropriate picture lol Mudrat you always come up with the right one Jack your killing me over here
