MaxW OK so I have owned many AMC's in my life. Mostly Javelins, I currently have four. But for the first time EVER I have a Jeep. Its a 1973 Wagoneer with a 360 in it. SO here are my questions. Who specializes in parts for these guys? Where can I get a brush guard? What is all this SMOG crap and can I get rid of it? Any help would be great. Thanks Adam bigbadracing@yahoo.com
Dusty What state are you in?, Smog is determined by that. Try IFSJ.com, otherwise M-C (MC) can help you with probably 80% of the engine stuff through Bulltear
jeepsr4ever Awesome a FSJ!!! now before I go on does that jeep have a auto and a part time transfercase? a large round blackhandled shifter near the passenger area between the drivers and passengers leg areas?
jeepsr4ever Some great sites FSJworld.com ifsja.org their are tons of FSJ fans and these two sites are full of great ones who can help outsourcing parts and all the major FSJ vendors frequent both of those :t: . Hope this helps
MaxW Dusty...I am in Colorado. Since its older than 25 years its exempt from emissions. Jeepsfever......it indeed does have an auto and a part time transfercase. Thanks to both of you for the websites. I am going to check them out. Adam
mrtazwrench i have several fsj parts rigs, all newer than your's so i'm not real sure what i'd have for you. :-|
jeepsr4ever cool a th400 - dana 20 case. The only really weak point is the stock adaptor. Aftermarket adaptors are available if you break yours and our pro parts division makes a billet adaptor. Alot of times jeeps with that setup came with low gears.
Goose Ahh more FSJ's life is good.. Also try www.bjsoffroad.com lot's off goos fsj stuff there But remember what Jeep stands for Just Empty Every Pocket! They are an addiction.. I'll trade a nice V-8 CJ5 for a Javelin!!
ironroad 32 WELCOME!!! i'm over on ifsja.org also ,IRONROAD29 over there ,just ask and you will be answered.
