Trailbst Having worked at a Jiffy Lube type joint for a while when I was younger, I got to lube all sorts of vehicles, and memorize where they all were to make myself faster. One of my favorite things to do now, is to take the CJ to a Lube shop and watch them try to find all of the Zerk fittings. I like to wait till they think they are done and then ask them how many they found, knowing that they won't find them all. Ya gotta remember, I have a pillow block for my PTO, I have a zerk WAY up high on the twin stick for my D18. Those are the ones that get missed most often. I know this is sadistic, but it is a small measure of pride that I know my vehicle that well. What are some of the sadistic things you do to other people?? Erik
rollen dean montoya i got a couple. working on aircraft and knowing almost 7000 different jobs that i have worked since 1981 when i went into the army and started working on ch-47 chinook helos. another thing i like to do is work with my dad on how to make insane horsepower . 2 cases in point : 1st was a 66 mustang with a 200cid I-6 normally 120 hp it now makes 325ph to the ground! no mods visible still running the 4 barrel motorcraft carb dad put on when he got the car. 2nd is the 69 ss396 pro street chevelle. 1000 hp to the ground on blower and 1400 hp on nitrous. some of us are just sick :mrgreen: later, rollen :lo1l:
