I leave tomorrow (Sept 1st). My brother, several long time friends (about 8 others), and I are headed to Canada (Ontario on the Winnipeg river) for some fishing, drinking, card playing, drinking, eating, drinking, reminiscing, and drinking.
Anyway, I'll be back on the 15th.
See you then.

Try the Brador! I live real close to the Windsor border and we make special trips across the Bridge a couple of times a year to go to the Beer Store and get a few cases.
Have fun.

We go in at International Falls, I'm not sure I've seen the place you mentioned. We've found it's still cheaper per case to buy beer in the states, declare it and pay duties.
We ended up with 13 people going this year. We brought back 52 Walleye (4 per person limit), 46 Northern Pike, 40 smallmouth Bass, and 32 Perch. We only keep fish around 1" of the limit, so we probably caught 6 for every one we put on the stringer. My biggest were a 24" Walleye, a 32" northern, and a 15" Bass. We didn't measure the perch, but every one we kept was at least 1 lb, they were huge. My brother caught a 40 1/2" Northern, nearly 17 lbs.
It was rainy the first 2 days, overcast the 3rd and 4th, and sunny the last day. It always seems to go that way. :-| The fish actually bit better on the cloudy and rainy days.
The only pics I took were of a mama bear and her 2 cubs swimming across a bay where we were fishing. The rest was pretty uneventful.
