rollbar Well I have a couple of questions for the build up of my CJ8. Axles I have now on the 8, D-30 & AMC20. I passed up on the Scouts, I had some others lined up but that fell through also. 1. I have a AMC20 w/ trac loc (it was stamped, I haven't opened the cover) that was given to me, how do I know if it's good & if it is good should I use it? 2. If I keep the AMC20 I was thinking about getting the Warn Full Floaters. 3. I have a D-30 that I am thinking about getting the beefed up axles for, should I? 4. I am going to put lockers in the front no matter which axle I get. 5. I don't want to spend a bunch of $$ but I need a good stout axle, I only have 5 grand to finish the build. **6.** I would like a direct bolt up so I don't waste more time, I just bought a new compressor & some new air tools & the mig welder is coming tomorrow. rollbar Excellent Paul, Thanks. ? Does anyone have a D-60 F&R or a D-44 front. I may have a guy w/a D-44 F/R out of a waggy would they be strong enough? (yes I know but had to ask). THE main reason I ask is that I'm going to set this JeeP up as a CERT/JRO Jeep & I don't want to worry about my axles. I have to buy new rims anyway (I have some 6 lug but their not new).
