tufcj That looks like the rear we had in a 1940s vintage Allis-Chalmers tractor. The gear reduction on the portal end was like 10:1, I don't know what the ring/pinion was. Needless to say, the gearing would never be practical for a street vehicle. I think poison spyder makes a custom axle using their fabbed center section and unimog portals. I recall about $8K each.
