Signed up earlier, just thought I'd introduce myself. Somebody gave me a 390 I‚Äôd like to build up and stick into my ‚Äô76 CJ5. This will be my first time doing an engine rebuild so I‚Äôve been reading up. My head is spinning from reading all the AMC build up topics. Good stuff. :? -Austin

Hey! Welcome abord! Just keep a lookout for MC's new attack pet. You can't miss it! It's a vicious snarling venomis beast with fangs, OH my GOD!! those huge saber-tooth FANGS!!! I shudder just thinking about it. If it gets loose Run man RUN!!! I going to try to sleep now. I'll probably have nightmares and have to sleep with the covers over my head.

I'm a mud and trails kinda guy, so I love the boggers, there are a milions times better than the skinny TSLs that the PO had on it, but it was pretty much stock then. I'm running them on 8" rims...so I can take them doen to 8PSI with no problems....yet :wink:

Right about here I realizd that I'm gonna need some good eye (heh...face) protection....

Nice rig, that is exactly how I make my spring hangers for full size axles..

THe fronts were put on by the previous owner, but I believe they are 2.5". The rears are the rears from a J20.
