Did a bunch of yard work when the sun was up - cleaned the shop (a little) while it rained and finally got the plates right for the front spring mounts and tacked together. Final weld and install tomorow!!! Mudrat

Got new steelie wheels on. :? Cragar 397s. And picked up a detroit for my 8.8. Got a gripe about these events too......so off to the other post....... :t:

1. put 50-70 mi on my $100 wag and made it home with only 1 part falling off. 2. got paid for parts that a guy got from me over a month ago, and he didn't uas them but kept them. got to see his shop and cj project, had a 401/t400/d300 in it. 3. had parts picked up that i pulled in jan, and the guy bought a coupple other small parts for his 75 j20 resto. 4. did a little work on the wag. 5. picked up a new dishwasher, got it installed, and found the perfect spot in the basement to put the old one for parts wash duty. this was my saturday. :lo1l: :mrgreen: :t: =D>

Got to cut metal with fire and fuse it again with fire!!! GREAT DAY!!!

Finally was able to work on the Jeep - by myself :smile: , but I got the brackets welded, one side brace complete except paint.

got my rear drive shaft yesterday putting it in today :? done working for the week sunday worked 18.25 hr monday 12 hr tue 12.75 hr not going back till sunday time to work on the jeep :?

A great day - got the afternoon off, got the grass cut, got replacement torx bolts (the one the paint shop "lost") and think I found my new favorite salvage yard . (thanks Rob!!)

Equiped with my trusty 3/8 ratchet and torx driver I collected 18 replacement torxs bolts for 5 bucks - some are even close to the same color!! going back tomorrow for 2 YJ rollbars (with sound bars installed) 2 full sets of seatbelts, and some other misc hardware ;-)

These guys take the not to badly damaged with parts from other not to badly damaged Jeeps and make whole units - they even have them painted!!!!

Mother's Day so I got to go to my parents, where there is a big shop and lots of tools. :mrgreen: I ended up with some free time after lunch and wrenched for a while on my heep.
