thermostat?

what thermostat would you recomend on a 76 304 fresh rebuild .30 over temperater also?

I run a 185 in mine. I have a 3 core rad. with a duel pitch fan. In 110 deg heat I ran in 4 low 1st gear for over an hour with no problem's.

I like to use metal ones made of different pieces. 8) Yeah, 185 is good. Jack

You should start with a full cam. If you only run 3/4's of the engine it will get hot :wink:
