i dunno mudrat. it kinda smells like braincells cookin to me 111!!! but then again i did seen a rattlesnake burst into flames when we hit the 100's a month ago :shock: does brain taste like chicken? :-| later,dog :lo1l:

Tried monkey brains in the Philippines, didn't care for it. They are also called shortbreads in some places. Now snake - that's always been good. I like it roasted with B-B-Q sauce, kinda like little smokies. But 'stick-roasted' in the jungle after a hard hump with a 100 pound pack was exquisite!!! Don't know what it was but it was about 15 feet long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock: :!: Got a rather big one in SoCal when my wife and I (then GF) were camping. Camp meat :t: and had enough to make her a belt and both of us a hat band!! "Hummm --MM good" :? Mudrat :mrgreen:

Lambs brains are good had that in Kuwait along with lambs tongue also. Rattle snake is good eating also. :t:

Tried sheep eyeballs in Saudi with some Bedouins - different. Not really bad, but since I knew what they were it was kind of a turn off. Mudrat

sounds like python to me. had one for a pet. killer watchdog! just hated it when animal would get in bed while rompin with mama. later,dog :lo1l:

Me TOO, in the 70's!! A reticulated python - named him JR (for JRRTolkin). Had to lose him though when he got over 7 feet ate too much (I spoiled him on gerbils) and he couldn't curl up where he wanted to with my GF :shock: (he was a breat beast) Must be something with cold blooded animals - my Iguana used the same 'space' with my wife when he was little :t: But he's about 5 feet now so it might be time to send him to the living museum where they have a better 'condo' than I can give him (right now that's 6'x6'x3')

i've never tried snake meat... tried gator though when i was in LA. That was alright... Tried all sorts of strange seafood. My dad had a python in the 70's too.... Best story he ever told was when he woke up and the snake wasn't in it's cage... Heard the hot hippie chick in the apartment beneath him screaming.... She was in the bathroom and it dropped down through the vent in her ceiling!!! Dad's still jealous that the snake got a better eyefull than he ever did!

Snake is good eating!!! And that's hilarious about your dads snake - I can DEFINATELY realate. While JR was curled up around a nice bosum, I just had to stand back and 'watch'.

had to "bribe" animal out of bed with a cold beer! yes we(the owner and flight engineer and myself) always had to bribe the python back to his tank. it was 1000 gallon custom made for him. he was 15 feet :shock: meals were 20 pound rabbits once every 10 days and 12 pack of coors longnecks a week! did catch a burglar in the condo =D> the dude stayed in a chair and animal kept him there. it was one of those things you had to see to believe. somewhere in colorado a sherriff has a polaroid of the event. later,dog :lo1l:
