Leather interior, quad cab, towing package, posi rear end, red paint smokers group, hood ornament. :mrgreen: Their are vin decoders online :wink: This one is a 1986 cj-7 built in the united states in toledo it has a 258 a 4spd a dana 300 and a GVW of 3750. Other things about this jeep Non galvanized body plastic timing gears 2bbl bbd electric carb computer widetrack axles non cv type driveshafts front and rear 4wd engagement indicator came with a hardtop and a plastic dash console with cutouts for wingwindows does it have airconditioning?

My buddy had one of the last 1000. It had a gold stripe that went under the door and up over the rear wheel. It had the words "Final Edition" in the stripe just behind the rear wheel. Unfortunately, it burned and was totaled due to a carb fire a few years ago. :smile: :smile:

87 is just a decoding number doesnt call out a year in that place of decimal

Was this a Laredo, Renegade etc. ???????????? It's just missing the tac & clock. Wanna paint it for the wife & put the correct stickers on the hood.

It appears to be no special edition, just a base model cj-7, but don't let that stop you from putting what ever decals you want on it.

They used to do the dealership editions ect, where dealers would deck it out with decals that weren't factory. I seem to also recall the Wolverine decal package for a couple of years too. Sound clean though good luck :lo1l:
