installed the pond in my front yard,got a new weed eater. wife has her new glasses. cleaned the remmy for memorial day killing at calico. will make usual trip to riverside natonal cemetery at march arb. will e-mail a poem i wrote for veterans and memorial day. later,dog :lo1l:

The 4.88 gears for the CJ are sitting on the garage shelf. I had hoped to have them in weeks ago, but the AMX engine project got much bigger than expected, so that's taking up my money and time. Hopefully, I'll have the engine in the machine shop by Memorial day, and I can do my gears.

A trip to the mountains. It is where our son was listed in 89. It took use 9 months to find his remains. to much snow to take the horses so we will play with the jeeps. we found him 7 miles in to the wilderness. Jerry

Well the CJ is coming along - spring perches are in, springs go on tomorrow AM. Tires go on then I start finishing the wiring followed by fenders and then see what I'll have to cut off of them.

Since I don't have time for the JY noise, I'm going to drop it off with a tranny shop and $ee what it'll cost me. shile the YJ is gone and after I clear the bench of the drill press and welding table, I'll finish putting the D-side YJ door back together.

Question - what year waggy CV drive shafts will work on the 85 w/D-44s AND the YJ with stock 35?? will a Cherokee CV axle work? Need a front for the YJ and both for the CJ.

My gine is all together and painted. Even took pictures with the headers and fuel injection on it. Just waiting on my oil fill tube and oil primer! :(:
