I figured it's safe here since a lot of us value the first, second, tenth and fourteenth amendments to the Constitution and the rest of our freedoms...
This is a Communist News Network (CNN) poll on the Semi-auto ban. It looks like the anti's may be doing their own thing and providing CNN with a result on this poll that they would like. We need to vote in this poll and then spread the word for others to vote as well. While I feel sorry for those who have lost someone (I have) history has proven gun control doesn't work.

Voted for Lifting. Beacuse we have a RIGHT to keep & bear arms. That said, other than for target practice (which is entertaining) I have little or no use for a gun. I suppose I could make use of one for Home Defense, but I really don't want some burglar or home invader BLEEDING on my carpet. Solution: 12 Guage Pump action Mossberg (sawed to just in front of Ammo Tube) loaded with Rubber Buckshot. 0% penitration at 6 foot but it'll knock over a bull. (Or so the manufacturer claims)

Maybe true - I am a competitor and if it weren't for job security, I'd be doing that this and next week. Competing inthe East Coast and All Navy matches.
On the other hand I had the parents of my best friend (Rene) and his sister (Suzi, my heart throb) killed by some lunatic with a pistol. Suzi had left her gun in the truck because of 'conceled carry' laws, had she had it with her, her parents and 1/2 dozen others would still be alive.
And woe be the perp that enters my house uninvited, for it shall be a party of 6 required to carry him out! 5 shots, one kill and 11 left in the mag :?

I own a few gun's :wink: . Most of them are simi auto's. I have never kill anyone with them. The Liberal's treat us like little kid's, somebody misuse's something and it should be taken from everyone 111!!!

rat, i got a desert eagle .50 cal hand held anti aircraft gun. trust me it hurts to fire it but sure makes big holes in things :mrgreen: kevan is in the right state. they like big guns there. az is a right to carry state and the crime rate is almost 0. later,dog :lo1l:

I enjoy shooting guns of all types, no one should be able to tell anyone they cannot do that. Would be the same as telling you which person you could or could not marry or anything else for that matter is getting there with all the pc crap though. Every person is different no two or alike not even twins that is what makes this country great. Besides stick and stones did the job for thousands of years anyway. Mankind the most deadly animal on the face of the planet. Just ask the animals and any other species that get in our way.

I own several pistols, shotguns, rifles (the wife says too many). Most are semi auto, some pre-ban. Colorado passed a "must issue" law for concealed carry permits last year, so my wife and I are currently taking the required handgun classes for permits. :t: I voted to lift BTW.
