The ugly side of wheeling

I was recently at a event and met up with some friends of friends and we decided we would hang out and drink beer. We went to their house and they seemed very friendly and offered beer and hotdogs...ect As the night went on I was feeling the effects of a long day of wheeling and alot of adult beverages ( #-o ) One of them says hey you gotta here this tape... I said cool who is it? He replied Johnny Rebel...I had never heard of Johnny Rebel before and thought yeah this is probly some red neck ho-down funny music...The talked me into bringing my jeep to the fire and playing the tape in the jeep. At first I couldnt hear the lyrics very well and just continued to talk to these guys about their obsession with FORD..then I heard it........a N#GGER aint nothing but a N#GGER...I stopped talking and listened a little more and heard...I am going to skin that N#GGER. I said are you guys shitting me you really listen to this....They replied Johhny rebel rocks man and we hate N#GGERS....I said (after alot of brewski's) you know what your a piece of sh#t and I want that #!$%%%@# Tape out of my jeep right now! Hostilities started to happen and the rednecks starting giving me hell and threatening me. I told them then I was a N#GGER and what are they going to do about it.....LOL (now I can laugh) But these guys got hot and pissed...I was soo close to kung foo it wasnt even funny. They simmered down a little after then could see my red face and the stare I gave them and one guy brought out a 35 gallon drum of old oil and tranny fluid and poored it on the fire 111!!! they laughed and eventually emptied the barrel........You know I wonder if these people who bumble through the life fantastic have any clue as to exactly what self destructive behavior will do to future generations... Racism :(:

I was recently at the same event and the friends of friends would have been my friend and his buddies. After drinking a lot more adult beverages than I should have, I feel foolish saying that I didn't even realize what was going on. I can't take responsibility for their actions but I can be embarrassed by and sorry for their actions. The same way I am far beyond sorry for my actions after drinking way too much. I never use alcohol as an excuse for my idiotic behavior but this time it played a major role in my acting the way I did and doing the things I did. I can't change what happened, but only hope that my apology for my actions will be accepted and my apology on behalf of the assholes as well. The world has come a long way as far as "All men are created equal" but unfortunately I think the progression towards the end of racism skipped some little po-dunk areas (especially a certain one in northern MN). As far as them threating you MC, I had no idea that it was going on, if I had known, I woulda gone kung fu on them myself. All I can do is say I am so sorry and hope that you will accept my apology. :oops:

i don't deal well with racism cause it wasn't allowed in our house. i have blood relatives(cousins) that are black and i don't see a problem with it . racism has no place in this country. too many cultures for that. just my thoughts. later,dog :lo1l:

i agree with the one stand-up that was on com. central one tme, mix all the races, then you can hate people just becuse they are a-holes.

I agree RACE HAS NO PLACE. the problem I have is if you listen to alot of this rap crap music the black artist's are calling each other the N word constantly. Isn't that spreading racism ?

you wouldn't beleve what we got up here, i lived in north cent. mn for a while in a coupple different towns, they'd all stare at my one long haired bud when he went anywhere, and a few called him repunzel, they're lucky he took it well cus this guy could hand out some wupass. 111!!!
