Hey Guy's, Here are some shot's of Bruce & The Mud Bus, as I said it is a 1941 MPW (and not a 41 FoMoCo GPW), which is a 41 Dodge Military 3/4 ton Power Wagon, it uses the same frame as the Dodge Power Wagon Command Car (like the one in the movie "Patton"), so it has a 41 MPW frame, cab, hood, grille, and core support, the door's are from a Fifties vintage PW, it sits on 44x19.50x15 Boggers & 15x14 Eaton Steel wheels, Sixties vintage M37 (Korean War & early Viet Nam style MPW) New Process Hypoploid 9.5" axles w/ 5.83 R&P's, Detroit Lockers & disc brakes, and soon to have our 40 spline 4160 Molly axle shafts & Detroit Lockers, it also has a 1992 Cummins Diesel 299ci/4.9Ltd out of a Frito-Lay's Van, M465 close ratio 4Spd transmission and a divorced NP205 T-case, most of these where used on military bases state side then after the war they went to the Forestry Department and to local Armories, before being auctioned off in the Sixties and Seventies...... :shock: :!: :roll: 111!!! This way when I'm done with the new MJ Crew Cab (it's a cut down XJ 2Dr&4Dr to make this rig up) with a short step-side bed, here are the specs Cummins Diesel 5.9Ltd HO w/a 544RE 4Spd Automatic transmission, a NV282e (push botton) T-case, on a 2000 Dodge Ram W3500 SRW w/a 7" Fabtech LA lift & a cut down frame w/a Wheel Base of 110" to 114", Dana 70's (close knuckle style front axle) 6.17 R&P's, Detroit Lockers 40 spline 4160 Molly axle shafts, disc brakes, 49x21xR20 IROK's on 20x16 (42 bolt Bead Lock) Forge Aluminum Weld Wheels (and/or Steel Eaton wheels) and a couple of Warn winch's a 12kLbs front & a 15kLbs rear. The guy's will build a front and rear brush guards, w/a 2"x0.120" tube side rock rails with a tube step and cable steps (like on the back of a Utility Comany Line/Pole truck), that way I'll be able to get in it. This way Bruce will have someone to go out and play with, and to see just how far we can take them before they get hung up then we will have another rig to get the other one out. These pictures are from March while the Mad Dawg's where running the South Fence Line of the Devil's Creek Area, West Clay Sink, Southwestern Side of RichloamWMA, and Bruce spent most of the day rescuing other guy's and their YJ's, TJ's and a couple of XJ's. Needless to say that I & Lil-Shiite was not one of them..... :shock: :!: :? :? :-| #-o :wink:

Here Bruce went back to retrieve another Geep, that was not waterproofed, those factory air boxes do not hold out much hood deep water in these kind of holes......

This is the MPW just after he hooked the strap up an 04 Rubi that could not make it across this deep hole, if you shut off a vehicle that would hydro-locked there is enough air in the intake and exhaust systems that will compress and not allow water into them, and it will fire right up on the other side.....

Here the MPW is pulling the Rubi thru the hole, needless to say that the following week it had a snorkel on it, just prior to this I took Lil-Shiite thru without even a wake of any sort, and it did not miss a beat, and his hood was even under water for a few meters, but I did get water in the E-spec H4 headlight housing on the driver side......

Yes, guy's we do have some excellent wheeling here in the Sunshine State, we may not have hills and rocks, but we do have a lot of this kind of wheeling...... :razz: :razz: :!: :!: 111!!! :oops: :smile: :lo1l:

Hey MC, Jack, Pat and Guy's, I have finely gotten all of the picture problems worked out now, I have even got Bruce's 41 MPW to show up now, so here they are. So thanks for all of the help and patiens during this time, I have found another foto Web Hosting service with unlimited posting, through this time I fell as though I have been during
