Too bad you missed the "Free Love" sessions of the 60's and 70's and had to worry about the 'Aids Generation' in the 80's and 90's.
(just updated the birthday listing too...)

I grew up in the suburbs of Nashville where a lot of the country music stars lived. My mom, sister and myself went to Baskin Robins one day and when we walked out, there was a General Lee sitting there. Guess who was driving it? I'll give you a hint, on the show they never showed his face or his feet and he was in every episode. Yup! My mom tried to get us to go over to him (he was just chillin' in the General in front of Lee's Apothocary, looking at us, waiting for us to come running over), but we were just mesmerized by it and were too scared. Man I could just shoot myself to this day for not running over there!!

You can't forget that DISCO died in the early eighties.

Just a good ole boy, ya know my mamma loved me, but she don't understand, they keep a showin my hands, and not my face on tv. Wasn't that Waylon Jennings.

Wow the 80's... so many things to remember, so much I wish to forget.
I remember the hair feathering, wearing knickers, neon clothes, skipping classes, switching classes with my twin sister with the teachers never catching on, smoking for the first time, first outdoor party where I  just a LITTLE too much and forgetting where I live. Watching the police come to my parents house because of either my brother or me doing something stupid. Spending the night out all night behind parents' back and get busted, driving a '68 Chevelle to school and getting my first speeding ticket, losing so many friends and going to so many funerals... crashing the graduation ceremonies when I didn't have enough credits to finish high school. lol, fun times. :?
