ILUV2XLR8 Kinda drivetrain related  Just like to see what everyone else is runnin' Currently mines 45.5:1
Trailbst This is what i got T-18 = 6.32 D18 = 2.46 D27/D44 = 3.73 Total = 57.99:1 That is until I get up to NH, to pick up my latest freebie. D25/D44 with 5.38s, then it will be 83.64:1 Erik
Tigger 90 YJ NV3550 - 4.04 NP231 - 2.72 Gears - 4.10 Crawl Ratio - 45.05:1 Project Jeep T18a - 6.32 D20 - 2.03 Gears - 5.13 Crawl Ratio - 65.82:1
pyagid T18a - 6.32 D20 - 2.03 Gears - 3.31 Crawl Ratio - 42.47:1 soon to be T18a - 6.32 D300 - 2.72 Gears - 4.54 Crawl Ratio - 78.33:1
Tigger jeepsr4ever wrotemy 85 th400 2.48 dana 20 2.0 axles 4:27  I think MC ran out of fingers and toes to add up his crawl ratio. IIRC you double the automatic's first gear due to the TQ converter so if that is right MC has a 42.36 Crawl Ratio.
jeepsr4ever I dont have a crawl ratio....... i will have to take the 38's off and add 225/75/r15's....hey :-| I could crawl all over the mall then
Trailbst Actually Tigger, he has a 21:1 crawl ratio, just numerically. Factoring in the Auto trannies torque converter, he has an Infinite:1 crawl ratio. I have learned a lot about autos and their crawl ratios in the last year. Erik
Dusty Till the torque converter pukes  then the crawl ratio comes to ascreaching halt NV4500 - 5.63 D300 - 2.62 D44/D60 - 4.88 71.98 :1 :t: If i get around to the LO MAX 4:1 for my D300 someday 109.9:1 :?
newt T18 = 6.32 Dana 20 = 3.15 (tera lo gears) R&P = 4.56 Crawl =~ 90:1 Tire size plays an important role in effective crawl ratio too (my 38's don't crawl as slow as 31s would)
thigh19 '63 CJ5 (kinda) t-18 - 6.32 d-18 - 2.46 d-30/44 - 4.88 _____________ FCR = 75.88 What I Want; SM420 - 7.0 terra low - 3.5 axels - 4.88 _____________ FCR = 119.56
Trailbst That's sweet Thigh19, sounds a lot like mine, 'cept I have 3.73s right now. Working on acquiring some 5.38s. Erik
