Edit: Got them home :lo1l: Engine is complete from the carb down to the oil pan. Tranny has everything (I think).

Took today off, dad came in about 3:30 - finished welding the rock guards on the rear axle, several Scotches and we're ready to go build an airplane!!!

Made it to Mexico Missouri for school!!! Took a tour of the "plant" - not much but it's interesting. Will start class and take a test flight tomorrow!!

:? Got to crack open the home made beer today! That stuff is good! Also had a super slow day at work, and have a couiple of new hires, so I might get to a day off sometime in the next couple weeks. On the good side of crashing my computer the other day, I am getting a bunch of free software on a good trade for a YJ tub that I picked up for free (including XP, Office '03, FrontPage Pro, and AutoCAD '04!)! :?:

Got to fly in the same type plane we are building. I flew, Nick took care of the take-off and landing. Yes, I got some pics (I just HAD to do the tourest thing :? ) What a blast and a really responsive plane!!
Been raining all day so couldn't fly :smile: Drove to St. Louis (125mi in torrential downpoor at time) getting ready to fly home.
Bob found a Jeep Recycle place??? Keep the address handy ;-)

Scored some new parts for my truck, for $2 and found a junkyard crawling with Jeep parts. Now if I only had a Jeep :-|

I painted my front roll bar pieces and threw them in the Jeep to get the out of the living room. Gonna try and install them next week.
Recieved all of my new programs inthe mail, except autocad 2004.
It was an absolutely beautiful day out and got to play on the beach!

Cleaned up some engine parts today and am talking my friend into coming into town to help me weld in the front roll bar kit I picked up for $60 (he has the welder!), plus maybe help me yank my block and crank out, and last but not least fix my computer! :?
