I know quite a few of the local guys. I pit for a friend's dragster, trying to convince him to convert to AMC power, but he likes his BBC. Oh well. There are a few AMC's that run here, a 68 AMX (AMXstacy), a 69 Javelin (Travellin' Javelin) and a 72 Gremlin. Hopefully next year I'll add mine to the list. Weather this weekend is kind of cool, only in the 70's, but it is nice for the NHRA Nationals, this weekend. Doesn't seem to be a lot of cars here though, I guess a few Cal racers couldn't make it or will be late, seems there was a 62 car pile up and heard a couple guys lost their rigs in the mess.

Most went to a couple? Hmmm..... haven't seen any AMX's on the road here in quite some time. I'll have to give your website address to the guys I know, maybe drum you up some business and sell more to the Vegas guys, so they'll get the cars on the road.

Lake mead and Horizon. Just as you start up the hill to Boulder city. There was a Javelin at one of the rippo car dealer's on Boulder hwy last week don't know if it is still there.

Yeah, I know the car, he had it on E-Bay for 4500 or so, didn't sell. Looking at it, it wasn't that good for the price. I drove past it a few times, might even go look at it one of these days. Can't remember the auction, but there were a few items that kind of made me leary, think the VIN said it was a 304 car, but claimed it had the original 360 in it, plus a few more discrepancies that I can't think of right now.

and didn't see a thing.i was goin into long beach so it wouldn't affect me.
