i just don't like polititians coming into the shop,disrupting work, lie to us about jobs, basically wasting our time when we should be building c-17's. it's really dangerous when we have a section of plane in the air being moved by overhead cranes and a senator or congressperson decides they need a photo with the crane operator. this is very bad thing to do considering a c-17 costs us taxpayers 170million bucks. senator boxer had to have a picture with me while i was drilling a highly critical part out. the part i was drilling out would have broke in flight if i allowed for the distraction but i refused to even talk while working. the job i was doing was on the flight control systems. we have no time to deal with polititians here. the public and military who fly in our plane rely on us to be perfectionists at our jobs. i can't make a mistake. it would be deadly in my line of work.this is why i am a gunfighter on the weekends. it is stress relief for me. later,dog :lo1l:

Nope, not at all. If a person really needs public assistance, thats fine - until they get back on their feet. I'm against baby factories and dead-beat dads that do not produce anything but kids. I also think that abled bodied welfare recipiants could benifit from a work-for-pay program, if for no other reason that to regain some self respect.
And I am FAR FAR away from being against firearms. I am a National and international competitor, hunter and have a CWP. I am most definately pro-Constitution and 2nd Amendment. That's what keeps the 1st amendment intact! Gays and same-sex marriages, the jury is still out. Normally I'm a pro-choice person, but I think there is something wrong with same-sex marriages - in a Biblical sense.

i like my guns! i was in the army and defended the rights of people to express themselves freely. that includes the 2nd amendment! remember what our founding leadership said about the 1st 10 amendments. these are not negotiable just like the 10 comandments in the bible. i do have a stepdaughter who is a lesbian and i love her just as much as all of my wife and i's kids. its actually fun to have a daughter that doesn't mind gettin greasy. later,dog :lo1l:

Before you preach about gun rights.... Think about this... There was a shooting 13 feet away from my bedroom window last night... While me, and kids and babies all slept someone got killed... And everyone should be able to carry one?? Thats assnine... just makes it easier for those who shouldn't be able to get one, carry one... And law abiding citizens like myslef get denied to LEGALLY carry one

don't know where you grew up but i grew up in 17th street gang territory in santa ana ca. i have been shot,stabbed,and beat up. guns are a way of life here and everyone has them whether you are law abiding or not. arizona is a right to carry state and i do carry in the open my 1858 remington .44 cal black powder revolver. the crime rate in arizona is next to nothing there cause gang bangers won't tangle with an armed law abiding citizen. the mexican gang bangers knew my last name but it was the color of my skin that pissed them off cause it's white not olive complected. if guns were taken from law abiding citizens then only criminals would have them just ask the people of australia when their government took their guns away. the crime rates went thru the roof . tourists from australia told me this at calico. remember this guns don't kill people, people kill people. a gun is only an instument,nothing more. cars kill and mame more people than guns but are you willing to go back to riding horses? of course not. later,dog :lo1l:

There are hundreds if not thousands of laws already on the books. MOST of which are directed against convicted felons so that "not everyone" can legally carry. But criminals don't care about the 'legal' part. If you look at statistics, an armed citizenry decreased crime, 'cause the bad guys don't know who will cap them if they try something. Remember Hitler mandated gun control in Germany, and looked what happened. So did Stalin in Russia, and he "got away" with over 12 million murders.

Australia instituted gun control/ban 3-4 years ago and the crime rate on violent crime INCREASED 300%. You can also reference Morton Grove, Washington DC, Los Angeles, (as nausieum) for comparable statistics.

On the other hand, look at FL. With the number of CWPs issued and the law that says you have the right to defend yourself, crime rate dropped - statewide - over 40%.

With over 50 million handguns in the US, think about the statistics of the armed citizens PREVENTING a crime!

I am curious why you were "denied to LEGALLY carry one"??
