any one know what kind of gas millage to expect from an 87 fuel injected 454 duelly truck?

12 mpg if you are lucky #-o at these gas prices here in socal i have no choice but to park the eagle and drive the chevette at 40+ mpg. and the eagle get 20 mpg ! later,dog :lo1l:

Shoo, I would agree with that. I would say for that old of a drivetrain, look for the neighborhood of 8 ot 10mpg. :shock:

Thanks for the info. I failed to mention it has a 4 speed stick tranny. Gas prices here in the carolinas are about 1.58 a gallon . I know that is cheep compared to the west coast.

Take the top off of a gas can and kick it over and it might be close to the mileage the 454 gets :shock: . Gas here in Vegas is $2.05 🙁: . When you drive a 100 mile's a day for work that start's to hurt.

kevan i got you beat. i drive 137 miles one way to work. 111!!! yes i am alittle crazy but i pay 350 a month for a house and 1/2 acre so i like it :mrgreen: later,dog :lo1l:

I lived in Hesperia and drove down the hill every day so I can relate. Of course I had a company truck so I did not care :wink: . I do pest control so I drive around alot.
