Ran speaker wires under the carpet on the J-10 put new carpet etc reinstalled the whole interior BEFORE checking the speaker wires! Had a short in one of them had to pull everything out again!! :(: :(:

All day in training on new (to us) software (Macromedia stuff) no chance to check the board all day ....

Well it's been a heck of a day.
Had a "toilet issue" I couldn't resolve, so stayed home and waited for the plumber - and am now the proud owner of a new library chair :shock: 8)
And, I figured since I'm here and working (real work, not Jeep work) might as well take the truck in for it's 30K warranty service and get it over with. Noticed when we were hunting that my "anti-spin" diff spun one tire like a big dog (350HP will do that I'm told), but the other one was like my old girlfriend - just sat there.
Ummm... well when I called before lunch, it was 'on the rack' but my service rep was at lunch and no update. So I call about 4:30 and talk to Don and he asks if I need it tomorrow, 'can I keep it another day?' Ah, Don? I gotta go to work in the AM. He says, "OK, umm... how about come in just before 6 and I'll get you a loaner for tomorrow". Don, what's going on with my rear diff? "Dunno yet, my axle guy hasn't found out what's wrong yet." Ah, excuse me??? "Well, he's still working on it. It'll either be fixed when you get here or I'll give you a car for tomorrow - - OK?" MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . ok ... this is still under warranty - right???
Well it is, so we'll see. But the issue was I 'almost' got stuck while hunting (the front end kicked in) so that's the reason I told them about it.
Oh, yeah and ht toilet flushes too.

Dodge update ...
They pulled the dif cover, cleaned, inspected and tested the rear - no problems found. Don said they found some scratches on the bottom of the pumpkin ... curious since I was only in the rocks and mud for a week :?
Wonder why I was only spinning on one side though? Anyway, it's documented if it happens again. :t:

We Had a big snow and Below zero weather.. Drove the J-10 to work and shuttled people home and to work pulled a few "SUV'S" out of the ditch all was well. Stopped at Wal-mart when I got back in to go home, No start..Had to get a ride home in an S-10. Oh the shame, the humanity. :smile:
Freakin Carb froze almost shut I found out the next morning.

Caught a cold in the plane enrout to SDGO Monday, 3 days of meetings with a head full of cotten, then a painful flight home yesterday trying to keep my ears clear -got home just before midnight, 2 hours late!!

first job mon morning replace plugs in a 94 cad fleetwood, seemed simple enough, :-| took 20 min to get the first one out, socket would not go on due to all the rust scale, oe plugs 96k on it, #-o second plug broke off insulator came out, got it out with my trusty snapy extractors, finished pass side plugs, went to driver's side, second to last broke off again insulator came out extractor worked again, last plug danm thing was rusted right off, maybe had metal holding 1/4 the way around, insulator broke off! screwed! :(: worked at it for a while, most of the metal was gone so i thought maybe compression would blow it out, not! i was just barley to get a small oxy torch tip to the plug, heated it up started motor still no go, beat on it some finally started motor and heated with oxy torch while running, started to hear a little flutter sound from it, shut off the torch goosed the motor finally it blew out! :t: used the extractor again done! :t: i was ready to say scerw it and go home. :(: the pos took me 3.5 hours. #-o :(:
