Decided to take advantage of our first day of sunshine and replace the axle under the 1 ton trailer. Measured, welded on the new pads and installed it only to find out the axle is 4" too short and th tires rub on the spring hangers :smile: WTF am I gunna do now??? :(:

I was installing my cloyes timing gear on my 401, and the notch in the back of the cam gear did not line up with the oil feed hole in the comp cam. It was off about 1/8 in off. The notch was only about 1/8in wide, so I widend it with a die grinder. Check this area very carefully!

i had a 1/2" drive extension on a breaker bar break on me, part of the female end broke off now i have a gash above my right eye, may have been enough to stich, but i didn't go to the doc, didn't get blood running in my eye so i'm good to go. :!:

spent the weekend fixing the electronics on the ford van missed 3 days of work and i'm out 400 bucks :(:

Took the day off (I'm out 8 hours sick time) had to make a wheel puller work to get the wheels off the lawn tractor. Some 180 grit and bunches of antisieze should make it easier next time...

Ya wanna know what REALLY chaps my ... backside? 801 Members (soon to be double 401 :shock: ) and we only have only 115 cheezy votes after 22 days (Top 4X4 started the month clock early), that equals .. lets see ... that's only .144 votes per member I have sheet metal thicker than that!!!

What was I thinking? I bought 2 of those dana 60 chrome diff covers from ebay....for 13 bucks.....dang things are .0625 thick.....thats like chromed paper. What a couple of pieces of junk :(:

was in the middle of a 30+car pileup on I-15 in cajon pass. the people were driving like idiots. it was rain and 30 feet visibility. used eagles 4x4
