jeepsr4ever Scramblr Is building an awesome rig for competition and we are sponsoring him and backing his every throttle response, here is a pic of the buildup and some mods we are working on for it.
Lifted79CJ7 I need more details!! Wht type of drivetrain are you running? Axles? Any special mods??? Jack
scramblr Ok here's the scoop. Drivetrain: 360,TH400 to a 203 to Dana 300 doubler. The Dana 300 has JB conversions 4 to 1 kit. Dana 60 front, 14 bolt rear both full width, with 4.56s and detroits. The frame is custom made to match the full width spring perches. I added 6 inches to the front so I could a 45* front plate and front spring mounts to act like one big slider. The body mounts and motor mounts are custom made. The body mounts run on top of the frame so that way there is nothing to hang up on. The body is bobbed 15 inches. Custom plate floor and and riser. Custom center hump. I will post more pics as soon as image station is mup and running.
Lifted79CJ7 So what springs are you using? GM style 4" lift leaves? Also, what size tires are those swampers? Jack
scramblr They are BDS 2 inch wrangler lift springs. Those are 36x12.50x16.5 TSL SXs. I will be putting on 37 Krawlers when the new rules for NEUROC come out and say 37 inch tires for my class.
scramblr Heres a couple more, It's done just needs paint, door bars, and maybe another set of bars above the fuel cell. :t:
Mudrat Looks Good Scramblr :lo1l: :t: BUT, will a regular hard top fit to keep you out of the weather? :? Mudrat
scramblr Nope, this is a comp rig and I really don't care about the weather so much. If anything other then a bikini top I will have my full soft top modified to fit.
scramblr Had it out yesterday for the first time for testing. Still needs finishing but was good enough to take out and test. The good news is it worked flawlessly. Here's a pic that someone else got.
Mudrat redneckjeeper wrotethese pics are probably nice but only the red x is showing up.??????? The image host may be having problems right now, they are some really good pics. Lotsa FLEXY :? mudrat
scramblr Definately an Imagestation problem. I right clicked on picture and hit show picture a couple times and it came up! Maybe there using to much bandwidth? :-|
Trailbst Did you remember to take the "orig.jpg" off the end of the link. When you use Imagestation, make sure you remove that. Also, is it a photo album setup to be viewed by the "public"?? HTH Erik
pyagid it did work when originally posted. the .orig.jpg is not on the end. I have noticed imagestation pictures have not been showing up on a lot of boards lately They may be slowly disableing linking off there servers Paul
Trailbst Well then, somebody needs to be hosting some pictures then. I wanna see the Rock Crawler!! Erik
