I have a set of axles off a parts vehicle with the older bigger style hubs (6 bolt???) If I want to swap these hubs inplace of my newer style 5 bolt hubs do I need to do anything besides just change the hub assembly?
Do i need to swap the whole spindle over? what is involved in this swap?

if they are the same diameter and off the same axle they will fit 90% of the time

If you change from the ball joints out it will be OK, if not you will have in-compatibility issuses with the braking components.
the later (5 bolt) hubs use a different rotor and caliper mount. this requires a knuckle change to overcome.
