We are offering wiring harness'es soon!!!!!! These wiring harness'es are complete plug-ins for engine and lighting wiring for all jeeps 67-91 with 92-02 still in developement, I personally needed a better harness for my jeep when i swapped a V8 in it and ofund that i needed the whole harness, soon that will be a faded memory. The kits are absolutely complete for your year jeep and have all connectors attached, no neep for splicing but all the wires are individually marked for easy splicing and in some cases come with splicing instructions

Gee durbs that sounds easy enough, maybe i can put you in contact with my wiring guy Godec, he can help you with the wires and maybe build you a custom harness

Still looking for the OEM fuse block and inside harness for an 87 YJ...

Can you make a pin removal tool? I need to get the old connections out of the block if I try and use my existing harness. I'm on the road and don't have the measurements with me, but it's something like .25W x .128D x .75L it looks like a mini-channel iron. Needs to be stiff since the 16ga units I made bent when I tried to use them!

Hey Mudrat there are a couple of companies that make those tools that you are asking about! Grote industries has the aswell as a canadian company called PICO ! Just hit tha local parts store and see if they carry either line! Cheers Mike

I found a used harness in Los Angeles and got it Monday. But I'll still try and find the tool since I'll rebuild my 85 fuse block in my 'spare' time for the 'just-in-case-it-happens-again' secenerio :roll:

They may have some, but what they sent me turned out to be for a different year Jeep... about 1/2 the connectors were wrong and the wiring colors were way different.

From the shipping lable, Scotty's Jeep, Truck and 4X4, 14349 Whittram Ave. Fontanna, CA. 92335. Sorry I pitched the phone # when they never returned my calls.

How much will the complete harness run?

I might need one for the 84' Scrambler w/a 360 power plant, I'll find out more when I get into it.

Don't know if MC's "wiring guy" has one or can build one - MC can tell ya.

I won't deal with those CA a$$h--es anymore> $100 just for the inside harness :shock:

IF MC can't get one to you try the Painless kit. Or, maybe Tigger can get you a deal??

I bought a bunch of WeatherPak (weather tight GM style)connectors from JimiFasteners since Sherco was jerking my chain didn't respond to my e-mails and I never got my on-line order. I got'm to finish my CJ mods and change some connections in my daughters YJ.

you might have to use apinfull wiring kit for now #-o

If you go with the painful kit, do a good inventory. When I went to install mine (after having it for about 6 mos) I was missing the steering column adaptors. They were cool and sent me them next day, but invetory up front. Since then I changed all teh connections to WeatherPak connectors - including the steering column :? Mudrat
