Just out of curiosity and not to bring any more heat on there Jeeps..But Do you still make a standard Lift type shackle Say 1 1/2 inch or so??
Built to the usual Bulltear "Hell for Stout" Specifications?? My little CJ already twists and droops like a Belly dancer on crack, So I'm lookin to go the other way a little control a little stability..A Little less excitement on those Challenging Nebraska dirt roads..

MC, how about an update at least. When are these coming out?? Some sketches to tease us with?? I bet you were hoping someone would forget about this thread. 8)
Erik
MC
Nope havent forgotten. This project has been pushed aside because of these reasons
1. the shackle unloads just like a revolver
2. being twice as flexy as a revolver it eats spring bushings
Once we overcome those two issues we can start to really turn these out but untill then I cant offer a sketch or any drawings.
Trailbst
By unloading, you mean when braking, they unload the suspension??
Spring bushings, that's all they eat?? Send me some, I'll swap spring bushing for increased flex. Unload, so what, it's a trail Jeep not a street Jeep. Send me some, I'll trail test them for you. :t:
Oh, and yes, I am 111!!!
Erik
pyagid
revolvers tend to unload, on wheel hop and some descents, I peronally would not to run them some place like NEBY, or Mabell (erik and my local trails)
-Paul
Trailbst
OT for a sec, Paul, isn't NEBY just such a cooler name than "the backyard"??
Erik

Just to make sure that MC knows we are still awaiting developments

Its hard to get these so they dont unload...I am unsure about the progress...or lack of in that area
bigun
Thats the problem I am hearing about on IFSJA site that has almost decided me against this idea
